Uzbek league is first among CIS in IFFHS ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) published ranking of the best football leagues of the world.

Uzbekistan Professional Football League took the 38th place in the world with 209.5 points, which is the best result among the CIS states. Belarus and Russia took 40th and 42nd place respectively. Georgia was 43rd and Ukraine – 47th.

Among the AFC countries, Uzbekistan took the ninth place. The leaders are Japan (22nd place), Iran (23) and Kuwait (24). Republic of Korea (26), Qatar (27), Syria (29), Saudi Arabia (30), Malaysia (34), Vietnam (35) and Singapore (36) are also placed higher than Uzbekistan.
