Uzbekistan reviews fixed rates of excise taxes for petroleum, diesel fuel

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government of Uzbekistan reviewed fixed rates of excise taxes for petroleum and diesel fuel.

Uzbekistan Finance Minister inked a decree “On review of fixed rates of excise taxes for petroleum and diesel fuel” on 2 July 2010. The decree entered into force on 24 July 2010.

In line with the decree, the fixed rate of excise tax for Ai-80 petroleum set at the level of 254,100 soums per tonne and for Ai-91, Ai-92 and Ai-93 – at the level of 279,400 soums per tonne.

The fixed rate of excise tax for Ai-95 petrolium made up 323,300 soums per tonne and for diesel fuel – 216,200 soums per tonne.

As earlier reported, the prices of automobile fuel in Uzbekistan rose by 15% from 1 July 2010.
