Uzbekistan takes 88th place in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- FIFA, world football governing body, announced new rating of national teams on Wednesday, 11 August 2010.

In new ranking, Uzbekistan took the 88th place with 351 points. Compared previous ranking, Uzbekistan lost one place.

Among the CIS states, Uzbekistan took the sixth place after Russia (16th place), Ukraine (24), Latvia (49) and Lithuania (52), as well as Belarus (78).

In the AFC, Uzbekistan is placed on the 10th place after Australia (20), Japan (32), Korea (44), Iran (65), Bahrain (68), Saudi Arabia (70), China (77), Oman (81) and Kuwait (85).
