Volume of market services in Uzbekistan reaches 14.686 trln soums in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The total volume of market services in Uzbekistan by all kinds of activity made up 14.686 trillion soums in January-June 2010, including 3.591 trillion soums in rural area, or 24.5% of the total volume of rendered services.

In comparison with January-June 2009, the real increase of market services was 10.9%, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The high growth rates were achieved in such sectors as repair of cars and other equipment – 28.7% , personal services – 20.5%, financial, including microcrediting– 18.5%, and hotel – 15.6%,.

Transport (31.5% of total services), trade and catering (18%), communal (13.1%), financial, including microcrediting (8.6%), communication and information, including services of information and resource centers (6.5%) prevailed in the structure of services.
