Assets of Meros credit union reach 1 billion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Assets of Meros credit union reached 1 billion soums as of 1 August 2010.

Total deposits, attracted from members, made up 886 million soums and share fees was 135 million soums.

The credit union was founded in 2009 with the charter capital of 35 million soums and as of 1 August 2010, the capital of the union made up 214 million soums.

Currently, the credit union has over 708 members.
