“Days of the Uzbek National Cinema Arts” held in Margilan

The “Uzbekkino” National Agency jointly with the Ferghana Regional Administration are holding the “Days of the Uzbek national cinema arts” dedicated to the jubilee of Margilan city, the UzA reported.

 

From the early years of Uzbekistan’s independence a profound attention is paid to the development of cinema. A special significance is given to the making of films, whichreflect the national values and rich spiritual heritage, the report said.

 

The opening of the “Days of Uzbek national cinema arts” at the “Nurkhon” cinema in Ferghana has indeed turned a mood-stirring festival. The participants of the event spoke about the development of the national cinema, creation of the new and modern films during the last years, which have aroused an enormous interest not o­nly in Uzbekistan but also abroad.

 

The motion pictures namely “Kelgindi kuyov”, “Uyin”, “Alpomish”, “Kismat”, “Suikasd” and other were demonstrated to the movie-lovers.

 

According to the report, as a part of their stay in the town the moviemakers are learning with broad preparation works to the 2000th anniversary of the city of Margilan.
