Uzbek, Tajik presidents discuss cooperation issues over phone

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov had a telephone conversation with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rakhmanov to discuss perspectives of cooperation of two states and water-energy problems.

The sides considered current affairs and perspectives of further cooperation of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

The leaders of two states discussed concrete issues of water-energy cooperation and determined measures on solving of existing issues.

The presidents considered international and regional issues of mutual interest.
