Youth Lake Complex opened in Urgench

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A ceremony of opening new resting-place “Youth Lake” was held in Urgench, Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, UzA reported.
The area of the complex makes up 15.5 hectares. The resting-place has cultural-architecture complex, designed for rest of population, especially youth.
It is a museum under open sky. The park has models of historic monuments of ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shahrsiabz – such as Registan square, Minorai Kalon, Kalta Minor, etc.
The visitors can enjoy nature and familiarize with history of Uzbekistan, which will strengthen spirituality of youth and respect to national traditions and values.
The park also has tea house, two ship cafes, chess club, modern attractions, and other objects. Some 12 billion soums were spent to construction works.
