Uzbekistan Airways moves to spring-summer navigation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari national airline moved to spring-summer navigation, the press service of the airline said.
The airline said that new schedule of flights, developed by commercial department in cooperation with other departments of the company, introduced some changes into schedule of international flights. The airline will conduct flight to Tashkent-Riga-New York twice a week – on Thursday and Sundays.
In order to develop tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek airline will make stopover in Urgench from Frankfurt to Tashkent on Sundays. The same can be observed on flights from Paris on Fridays and Milan on Sundays. The flight Tashkent-Geneva was abolished, but the airline will continue to fly from Tashkent to Madrid.
The airline will resume its flights to Tokyo. The flights will be conducted on Wednesdays and from Thursday to Friday night– twice a week. The airline opened new flight to Singapore, which will fly on Wednesdays and from Thursday to Friday night.
Regarding the CIS flights, the airline launches new flights from Urgench to Volgograd, due to high demand among passengers of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari. It is planned to carry out new flight from Tashkent to Vladivostok.
The schedules of internal flights were not changed. The spring-summer navigation will last till 25 October 2014.
