First group of pilgrims back to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first group of pilgrims returned to Uzbekistan on 19 July after performing Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, the press service of the Committee on religious affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.
The committee said that currently 506 pilgrims from Uzbekistan are in Mecca and Medina.
The Umrah-2014 of Ramadan season will take place from 10 to 29 July 2014 and each group will stay in Saudi Arabia for 10 days – three days in Medina and seven days in Mecca.
Overall, 670 pilgrims from Uzbekistan will perform Umrah pilgrimage during Ramadan month. Three special flights on route Tashkent-Jeddah-Tashkent will be conducted for them.
The group of doctors, cooks and members of the working group are providing various services to pilgrims, the committee added.
