Uzbek chess player dies in Norway after Chess Olympiad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Former World Chess Champion among deafs Alisher Anarkulov from Uzbekistan was found dead, in his hotel room in Tromsø, Norway, after the closing ceremony of the World Chess Olympiad.
Norway police said on Twitter there was “no crime” suspected in the case and was not treating the death as suspicious.
Tournament spokesman Jarle Heitmann said Uzbek chess player died of natural causes.
Alisher Anarkulov aged 46 from Uzbekistan played on Board 4 for the International Chess Committee of the Deaf (ICCD) team.
