WTTC experts forecast tourism boom in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) included Uzbekistan to Top Five of countries, where they expect tourism boom in next ten years.
According to forecast of the WTTC, the tourism sector in Uzbekistan will grow by 6,2% per annum next ten years.
“Uzbekistan boasts a rich archeological and architectural heritage. Since declaring independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, efforts have been made to prepare the country for tourists. Uzbekistan is also becoming a popular destinations amongst mountaineers and rock climbers,” The Telegraph reported.
Angola (7.3%), Gabon (7.3%), Mongolia (6.3%) and Lebanon (6.2%) were in Top Five countries along with Uzbekistan, where the WTTC expects tourism boom in next ten years.
