Uzbekistan creates 777,800 new jobs in Jan-Sep

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan created 777,800 new jobs in January-September in the result of implementation of the programme on creation of jobs and ensuring employment of population for 2014.
Ministry of Economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said that about 465,000 or 59.8% of total created jobs were created in rural areas. About 281,800 new jobs were created due to launch of new small enterprises and microfirms, 87,400 – development of individual entrepreneurship, 116,600 – development of farms and dehkan entities.
The growth of salaries in Uzbekistan made up 17.7%, average pensions – 15.7% and aggregate income of population by 18.7%.
It is planned to create 983,600 new jobs in Uzbekistan in 2014 within the programme on creation of jobs and ensuring employment of population.
