“Smart warehouse” with LEAD WMS created in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- LogistiX, a leading system integrator in logistics sphere in Russia, completed a project on automatization of logistic center of Dori-Darmon, a leading wholesale and retail enterprise in pharmaceuticals market of Uzbekistan.
The Russian company said that this is the first automated warehouse in Uzbekistan, which was realized on “smart warehouse concept” with use of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS&RS) and modern technology of automated identification with integration to LEAD WMS system. This allows centralized management of all processes at the warehouse.
LogistiX specialists carried out adaptation of WMS for pharmaceutical industrydue to special module of goods movement SSI Schaefer. The system works on two regimes M2G (man-to-goods) and G2M (goods-to-man).
Dori-Darmon noted that this was a unique project for Uzbekistan, which allowed to fully automate warehouse management processes.
