Delegation of Uzbekistan meets with Turkish Deputy FM

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, paying visit to Ankara, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Kemal Aydin on 27 November 2014.
Within the seventh round of political consultations between Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkey, the sides considered current state and perspectives of deepening bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investment and culture-humanitarian spheres, as well as interaction within the UN and other international organizations.
The sides underlined dynamics of the Uzbek-Turkish dialogue with satisfaction, which are based on mutual interest to gradually develop mutual beneficial ties.
Turkey is one of the largest trade partners of Uzbekistan. Since 2000, the bilateral trade between two states rose seven times and reached US$1.346 billion in 2013. The positive trend is also observed this year.
The countries created firm agreement-legal base of cooperation, which consists of 64 documents in various areas.
The sides considered schedule and course of preparation to upcoming bilateral contacts.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on other issues of mutual interest.
