Heads of Muruvvat houses visit South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Heads of Murruvat boarding houses for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health problems, visited South Korea to study experience of similar institutions of the country from 24 November to 7 December 2014.
The agreement on the educational visit was reached between Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Population and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in August 2014.
Representatives of Uzbekistan learnt about created conditions for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health problems. They underlined that they are planning to implement the best practices in their institutions.
In particular, the Uzbek specialists want to introduce solar panel station and special hygienic means in the Murruvat houses, as well as social technologies on rehabilitation of individuals.
