Uzbek small enterprises should sell 25% of hard currency revenue from export of agriculture goods

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Small businesses of Uzbekistan were obliged to sell 25% of hard currency revenue from export of fruits and vegetables to the government.
New order was set by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov "On forecast of main macroeconomic figures and parameters of State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2015" from 4 December 2014.
From 1 January 2015,the microfirms and small enterprises should sell 25% of their hard currency revenue from export of agriculture products and wild plants to the government.
Uzbekistan plans to manufacture 9.536 million tonnes of vegetables and 2.606 million tonnes of potatoes, as well as 1.2 million tonnes of onions. In line with the forecast of the government, the farmers will produce 1.77 million tonnes of melons, 2.703 million tonnes of fruits and 1.526 million tonnes of grapes.
In 2015, Uzbekistan is planning to export 296,100 tonnes of vegetables, 80,000 tonnes of melons, 115,000 tonnes of fruits and 110,000 tonnes of grapes.
