Jizzakh Plastmassa starts to produce new goods

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Jizzakh Plastmassa is implementing new investment projects, the state-run newspaper Narodnoye Slovo said.
The paper said that “road map” on financial-economic rehabilitation of the enterprises is implemented at Jizzakh Plastmassa. It is planned to implement several projects on modernization of capacities and launch production of new goods, as well as four investment projects for US$2.56 million.
An Uzbek-Chinese joint venture Jizzakh Avantaj Plus started its work in the territory of the plant. The enterprise will produce 10 million hyperpressed bricks a year. The bricks are used at construction industry and the venture signed contracts to supply them to construction organizations of Jizzakh region.
Director of Jizzakh Plastmassa Elyor Turakulov said that the plant is planning to start production of polyethylene with up to 3 meter width, polyethylene pipes of various diameters and joining units in the first half of 2015.
He said that the plant produce over 20 produces. The plant launched production of spools for winding acetate yarn, 60 liter jars for drinking water at the order of Ferganaazot. The plant produced more than 110 tonnes of flexible pipes for irrigation of agriculture fields.
Currently Jizzakh Plastmassa is developing 11 perspective investment projects to attract local and foreign investors to implement them.
