Uzbekistan mines 4.397m tonnes of coal in 2014

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan mined 4.397 million tonnes of coal in 2014, which grew by 7.5% year-on-year, the press service of Uzbekugol said.
According to the company, Uzbekugol mined about 3.989 million tonnes of coal (+2.5%), Shargunkomir – 107,210 tonnes (+434.3%) and Apartak – 300,039 tonnes (+68.2%).
The volume of goods in current prices made up 279.922 billion soums at the growth rate of 25.5% year-on-year.
The company said that 4.372 million tonnes of coal were delivered to consumers (-21.5%). Uzbekugol delivered 3.952 million tonnes of coal (-25.3%), Shargunkomir – 106,736 tonnes (+164.2%) and Apartak – 313,154 tonnes (+31.2%).
