Botirjon Asadov appointed as Ambassador of Uzbekistan in South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan appointed new Ambassador of the country in the Republic of Korea, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
According to the ministry, Botirjon Asadov has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea.
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Botirjon Asadov left Tashkent for Seoul, the ministry said.
Prior to appointment, Botirjon Asadov worked as a Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the People’s Republic of China. He replaced Alisher Kurmanov at this post, who was appointed to the post of the deputy foreign minister in July 2014.
