Uzbekistan to increase ammophos production by 2020

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will increase production of ammophos from 73,500 tonnes in 2015 to 208,300 tonnes in 2019, the press service of Uzkimyosanoat told UzDaily.
The production of ammophos will be increased due to modernization of the capacities of Ammophos-Maxam, which is one of key producers of ammophos in Uzbekistan.
The project was included to the programme of measures on ensuring structural reforms, modernization and diversification of production for 2015-2019, which was approved by the President of Uzbekistan on 4 March 2015.
Ammophos-Maxam in cooperation with Maxam Corp. International S.L will implement a project on modernization of capacities on production of phosphorus fertilizers with the cost of US$14.6 million in 2015-2016.
Own raw materials base of the chemical enterprises, producing phosphorus fertilizers, expanded in 2014 due to expansion of production of enriched phosphorus raw materials at Kyzylkum phosphorus complex of NGMK up to 716,000 tonnes.
