Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 May 2015, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India Vinod Kumar.
The Ambassador presented a copy of the credentials, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
During the talks, the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
As has been emphasized, the basis of the progressive development of bilateral relations is the regular Uzbek-Indian dialogue at the highest level. In this context, the preparation for the upcoming bilateral political events was considered.
Special attention was paid to the interactions between Uzbekistan and India in the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
The sides also exchanged views on regional problems.
