Russia stops transit of Roshen products to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselhoznadzor) did not allow transit of 20 tonnes skimmed milk powder and sweet butter from Ukraine to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for Bryansk and Smolensk regions said.
A party of skimmed milk powder and sweet butter arrived to Troyebortnoye border crossing on 22 May. The products were produced at Vinnitskiy Millk Plant of Roshen.
Total weight of cargo was 20 tonnes and was sent to Uzbekistan. During the inspection, the Russian officials revealed that the cargo’s documents have no full information.
In the result, the cargo was sent back to the sender.
