Uzbekistan and South Korea ink several documents

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and South Korea signed nine documents in the result of negotiations between presidents of two states.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and President of South Korea Park Geun-hye held negotiations in Soule on Thursday. The Presidents adopted a joint declaration after the negotiations.
Besides, Uzbekistan and South Korea signed nine documents. Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and South Korea inked a programme of cooperation for 2015-2017.
The sides also signed an agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses and memorandum on revision of social provision agreement.
Uzbekistan and South Korea signed a programme of cooperation within the KOICA for 2015-2017. It is planned to realize 11 projects within the programme.
Uzbekistan and Engineering & Construction Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on a US$4.5 billion project to produce plastic products by converting methanol produced from natural gas to olefins.
The sides inked a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the EDCF. The sides signed an agreement on realization of secondary education informatization projects, which will be financed by EDCF.
National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity and Korea Eximbank signed a memorandum of understanding. Two countries also signed a memorandum of cooperation in industry sphere.
