Polish parliamentary delegation to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A parliamentary delegation of Poland led by Vice-Speaker of the Sejm Jerzy Venderlih will pay a visit to Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.
During the visit meetings will be held in the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Member of the Polish Sejm deputy Jacek Czerniak said: “We are enthusiastically preparing for our visit to Uzbekistan, which is scheduled for the end of June this year. I believe that the these meetings will be held in the spirit of openness, friendship and mutual understanding.”
“During the conversations we will touch the issues of further cooperation in the development and expansion of our inter-parliamentary cooperation. Along with this, I note that we also plan to create a Polish-Uzbek inter-parliamentary group,” he said.
“I think that the experience gained during the visit will benefit the development of bilateral relations between our countries. Well-established communication between the two countries grow stronger and develop,” he added.
“I am sure that our visit to Uzbekistan will be fruitful and memorable, as the country is home to a very welcoming and friendly people. I would also like to say that in addition to the rich cultural and historical heritage in your country are varied and delicious Uzbek cuisine, which do not leave anyone indifferent,” Polish MP noted.
