Uzbek President receives new envoys

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received credentials of newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia Dato’ Nor’Aini Abd Hamid, of Algeria Nasser Busherit and of India Vinod Kumar at the presidential residence Oqsaroy on 26 June 2015.
Islam Karimov underlined that Uzbekistan pays great attention to development of cooperation with Malaysia, Algeria and India and wished them success in their missions in Uzbekistan.
During talks with Malaysian envoy, the sides considered current state and perspectives of developing relations in political, trade-economic spheres, interaction within the UN, OIC and other international organizations, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
At the meeting, the sides underlined mutual interest in stimulating bilateral cooperation, bolstering the Uzbek-Malaysian institutes and mechanisms of interactions, realizing joint economic project.
Dato’ Nor’Aini Abd Hamid said that her main mission is further expanding and deepening cooperation between Malaysia and Uzbekistan on mutual beneficial bases.
Uzbekistan considers Algeria as one of important foreign political partner of Uzbekistan in North Africa. It was said that two countries possess significant potential to further developing mutual beneficial trade and deepening investment cooperation, expanding cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
Algerian envoy said that it is great honour to him to serve for strengthening relations between two states, peoples of which are linked with historic, cultural and spiritual commonness.
During the meeting with Indian envoy, Vinod Kumar said that he will do his best and use his experience for further deepening relations between two countries and nations.
