Mikrocreditbank opens new mini-bank in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint stock commercial bank “Microcreditbank” opened new mini-bank “Urda” in Shayhantahur district of Tashkent city, the press service of the Uzbek bank said.
The ceremony of opening ceremony of the mini-bank was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, employees of the bank and journalists.
Currently, the Uzbek bank has 85 branches and 140 mini-banks across Uzbekistan. The bank currently has over 290,000 clients.
In the past period of 2015, the bank issued 705.7 billion soums of financial support to small and private businesses, including to young people and women, as well as graduates of colleges.
The bank said that it allocated 18.3 billion soums of preferential loans to graduates of colleges and 36.3 billion soums to women entrepreneurs.
