Prime Minister of India wraps up visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi wrapped up his official visit to Uzbekistan on 7 July 2015.
On Tuesday, Narendra Modi, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev, visited the Shastri Square and Mustaqillik Square in Tashkent.
Indian Prime Minister laid flowers to the monument of the outstanding politician and statesman of India – Lal Bahadur Shastri and the Monument of Independence and Humanism.
He also met with Indologists, students learning Hindi and members of the Indian community.
That drew conclusion to the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At his twitter account, Narendra Modi stated in Uzbek language that the visit to Uzbekistan was unforgettable and it will serve to strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and India. “My gratitude to the people of Uzbekistan for the affection,” he said.
