Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of vice-premiers in Uzbekistan grew from six to seven as two new complexes were created at the Cabinet of Ministers instead of the Complex on issues of culture, education, healthcare and social protection.
According to the Governmental portal, the complex on issues of youth policy, education, culture and sport and the complex on issues of protection of health, ecology and quality of people’s life were created instead of the Complex on issues of culture, education, healthcare and social protection.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a corresponding resolution. In the result, number of the vice-premiers rose from six to seven.
The complex on issues of protection of health, ecology and quality of people’s life was led by Adkham Ikramov, who earlier chaired the complex, which was disbanded.
Bakhodir Hodiev will lead the complex on issues of youth policy, education, culture and sport. Hodiev worked as state advisor of the President on science, education and culture prior to this appointment.
