Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan discuss perspectives of bilateral ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz Republic discussed issues of current state and perspectives of relations o 18 August 2015.
These issues were considered at the meeting between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov and Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Abdirakhman Mamataliev.
At the meeting, the sides considered current state and perspectives of bilateral relations, resumption of work ofjoint Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation and activization of the governmental commissions on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state borders.
Abdirakhman Mamataliev said it is necessary to hold next session of the joint the Uzbek-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation in Bishkek.
Kyrgyz official added that development of trade-economic cooperation should help to strengthen stability and mutual understanding between people of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Mamataliev also underlined that it is necessary to speed up work on development of a draft agreement on Kyrgyz-Uzbek state borders in line with the agreements, reached between leaders of two states. The docment should be considered at the governmental commissions on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state borders.
