Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will create single centers for rendering state services to business entities on “one-stop-shop” principle on the base of inspections on registration of business entities at the district and city administrations.
President of Uzbekistan signed a resolution on 28 September, in line with which new single centers are created. The resolution was adopted to improve quality and accessibility of state services to business entities.
According to the resolution, current “one-stop-shops” of ministries, state committees and other states will stop their activities till the end of 2015.
The single centers will provide such services as connection to utilities, permissions to change external look of buildings, reconstruction of objects, registration of rights to land, buildings, facilities, etc.
The centers will also provide permissions for outside advertisement, special water use and consumptions, use of flora, and others.
Ministries and other state bodies banned from accepting documents from businesses, related to providing state services to them, from 1 January.
From 1 October 2015, it is planned to create new centers in 2-3 districts in Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent as an experiment in order to develop and approve regulations on organization of “one-stop-shop” centers and providing state services via “one-stop-shop” centers.
