Foreign companies plan to buy stakes in two wine plants in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Companies from Germany and Bulgaria are planning to acquire stakes in two wine plants in Uzbekistan, the press service of Uzvinprom-holding said.
Uzvinprom-holding said that management of the company held negtotiations with representatives of companies from Spain, Bulgaria and China to discuss cooperation and investments into companies of Uzbekistan, including into Shakhrisabz vino aroq and Samarkand combine named after Hovrenko at the International Investment Forum, which was held in Tashkent on 5-6 November. The company said the positive results were achieved in the result of negotiations.
Within the forum, Uzvinprom-holding held presentation of the industry and its opportunities to foreign investors, who are interested in privatization of food industry of Uzbekistan, at three sessions.
In the result of the session, the Uzbek company and Bever GmbH. I. G. (Germany) and Vinogradez Vine House signed a memorandum on purchase of state stake at Shakhrisabz vino aroq and Samarkand combine anamed after Hovrenko.
