Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekyengilsanoat (Uzbek Light Industry) signed memorandums and agreements with foreign investors for total sum of US$216 million in the result of International investment forum in Tashkent.
International investment forum was held in Tashkent on 5-6 November 2015.
According to UzA agency, Uzbekyengilsanoat inked eight memorandums and agreements with foreign investors for total sum of US$216 million, directed to implementation of investment projects and one agreement on sale of textile enterprise.
According to the agency, Lemon International (Hong Kong) purchased unused premises of bankrupt enterprise Bobur in Andijan region for US$2.4 million.
At the same time, Uzbekyengilsanoat, State Committee of Uzbekistan on privatization, demonopolization and development of competition, Andijan regional administration signed a memorandum with Bobur M and F (Hong Kong) on realization of investment projects on the base of Bobur with the cost of US$25 million.
Withinn the framework of the memorandums, cooperation will be continued with Indorama Corporation (Singapore) as part of the implementation of the investment project on the basis of Bukhoroteks, Enertrade (US) to buy out the state share of JSC Norinteks in Namangan region, Swiss Capital (Switzerland ) on production of yarn in Surkhandarya region in 2016-2018, and others.
