Distance learning is introduced for part-time students

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 2018-2019 academic year, higher educational institutions will introduce distance learning classes for part-time students.
Currently, 15 universities provide educational service for part time students in eight directions.
Now with the help of the online learning system platform, students will have the opportunity of distance learning, remotely, without breaking away from their jobs.
The online learning platform was introduced by the Center for introduction of e-education in educational institutions under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At present 144 electronic textbooks for special correspondence education have been developed. At the next stage of the distance learning program, it is planned to introduce correspondence and evening education of higher education. Textbooks of correspondence and evening education will also be gradually transferred to the on-line education system.
On the platform designed for organization of online training courses, all the necessary elements have been created. In particular, lectures, video lessons, tests, tasks, chats, forums, glossaries, feedback and a webinar are among them. And also, in order to create the necessary conditions for users, the platform was integrated with social networks.
