Asian Games: Boxers win five gold and two silver medals
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan boxing team clinched five gold and two medals of the Asian Games in Indonesia.
Husanboy Dusmatov won the silver medal of the Asian Games in the weight category of 49, losing to Amit Pangal from India.
Jasurbek Latipov defeated Rogen Ladon from Philippines in the weight category of 52 kg and won the gold medal of the Asian Games.
In the weight category of 56 kg Mirazizbek Mirzahalilov won the Asian Games, knocking out Jo Hyo Nam of DPR Korea.
Shunkor Abdurasulov lost to Erdenebat Tsendbaatar of Mongolia and received a silver medal of the Asian Games.
In the weight category of 64 kg, Iqboljon Holdarov beat Baatarsukh Chinzorig of Mongolia to become champion of Asian Games.
Bobo-Usmon Baturov (69 kg) and Israil Madrimov (75 kg) defeated their opponents and won gold medals of the tournament.
Judoka Bekmurod Oltiboev (over 100 kg) and Sherali Juraev (up to 100 kg) won the bronze medals of the Asian Games.
Sambo wrestler Ahmad Rakhmatilloev (up to 52 kg) and Nodira Gulova (up to 48 kg) claimed bronze medals of the Asian Games.
Kamoliddin Holmamatov (up to 90 kg) won a gold medal of the Asian Games in sambo competitions, while Nilufar Davletova (up to 68 kg) clinched a silver medal.
Member of Uzbekistan canoe and kayak sprint team Dilnoza Rakhmativa won the bronze medal in the distance of 200 meters. Artur Guliev and Elyorjon MAmadaliev claimed the silver medals of the Games.
Ekaterina Shubina and Yuliya Borzova won the silver medal in the distance up to 500 meters, while Kazantseva, Borzova, Shubina and Kochneva received bronze medal on 500 meter distance.
Uzbekistan won 70 medals of the Asian Games, winning 21 gold, 24 silver and 25 bronze medals.
