Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent city administration is implementing a project to improve emergency medical care. Jokhangir Artykkhodjaev, the capital’s khokim, announced about it during a meeting with representatives of the Public Council of Tashkent.
Jahangir Artykkhodjaev said that in the capital emergency medical care is being created with a minimum response period.
It is planned to train male doctors, who are able to work in three shifts. It is planned to purchase 100 ambulances - 90 standard and 10 reanimobiles, he said.
Khokim underlined that separate teams of specially trained paramedics will be created. This project is designed to bring Tashkent to a record for the speed of response to appeals in the CIS countries.
Garages will be located throughout the city in such a way that the whole territory is covered and full accessibility is ensured. First aid will be launched before the end of the year.
