Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A commission on inventory of motor vehicles equipped with gas cylinders, gas filling compressor stations, and centralized boiler houses was formed in Uzbekistan.
The commission was established in accordance with the resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan. The first deputy prime minister of Uzbekistan, Achilbai Ramatov, headed this commission.
The Commission will conduct a comprehensive inventory of vehicles for use of certified and compliant with standards and technical regulations compressed gas cylinders, as well as a phased inspection of the technical condition of each vehicle.
The document notes that the inventory of buses, minibuses and cars (taxis) used for the transportation of passengers will be held until December 1.
Motor transport of individuals and special equipment of organizations for the transport of goods and production processes will be inspected at the established time of technical inspection.
The gas filling stations will also pass an inventory until November 15. Also, the commission will check the qualification of station personnel.
A continuous inventory in the centralized boiler houses will be held before November 1.
The document notes that more than 50% of vehicles in the country use compressed natural gas as fuel. Due to violations during refueling of cylinders, periodic tests on the tightness and reliability of connections, as well as the operation of physically and morally obsolete balloons, accidents occur.
