State bodies to pay for videotapes with traffic rules violations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting from 1 July 2019, the persons, who will provide video recording with violations of traffic rules, will receive the money at the size of 5% of set minimal salary.
The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On additional measures to improve the effectiveness of fight against traffic offenses in the field of road safety”.
From 1 July 2019 Uzbekistan will create a centralized server of video recordings of cases of offenses recorded by DVRs. Videos can be uploaded to the site jarima.uz.
At the same time for enterprises in the sphere of public transport and passenger transportation, installation of DVRs will become mandatory.
According to the document, the materials presented are equated with video recordings of offenses, produced by special automated photo and video fixing equipment.
Also, the document establishes a requirement for video quality and applicants.
Video recordings should be visible and clearly distinguishable committed offense, vehicle brand and state number, date and time of the committed offense.
Strictly forbidden to change the video, except trimming the roller before and after the part in which the offense is sealed (duration should not exceed, as a rule, 120 seconds).
Applicants must provide their details, including the address and bank account details (if the representative of the legal entity sends the video), phone number or bank plastic card and e-mail address, etc.
