Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting from 1 September 2018, Tashkent has expanded a list of violations of traffic rules, fixed by cameras installed at intersections.
According to the Computer Center of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent, earlier the cameras recorded only two types of violations - travel to the prohibiting traffic signal and exceeding the permitted speed, but now their number has increased to seven.
Five types of violations are recorded by 15 operators of the Central Dispatching Department of the Department of Traffic Police: using the phone while driving, unfastened belt, violation of stopping and parking rules, driving to the oncoming lane and driving along footpaths.
Operators in the event of a violation prepare a protocol on an administrative offense. The protocol is sent to the address of the intruder.
Currently, the system of automated recording of violations and video surveillance was launched at 115 crossroads of the capital on 15 March 2017.
