Uzbekistan and Russia to jointly train Russian language teachers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Managers and Specialists of Public Education System named after A.Avloni and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “State Institute of Russian language named after A.S. Pushkin” signed an agreement on cooperation.
The document was signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan.
The Rector of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Managers and Specialists of the A.Avloni National Education System; Nargiz Rakhmankulova and the Rector of State Institute of Russian language named after A.S. Pushkin Margarita Rusetskaya put their signatures on the document.
As part of the signed document, educational institutions intend to cooperate in the training of teachers of the Russian language and conduct joint research on teaching and promoting of the Russian language, as well as the providing of educational services in Russian.
In particular, the parties plan to create joint groups of authors to develop and adapt educational materials on the Russian language, including in electronic format, as well as exchange scientific and practical experience for use in educational institutions of Uzbekistan.
Educational institutions will develop and implement joint educational, network-based educational, research, consulting seminars, conferences, webinars, forums and various courses on the teaching of the Russian language, innovative educational technologies, etc.
One of the areas of cooperation will be organization of internships and advanced training of teachers in Uzbekistan and Russia to improve the level of pedagogical skills, study the experience of teaching Russian language and its implementation in educational activities.
The parties are planning to conduct cultural, educational, scientific and practical activities to preserve and strengthen the position of the Russian language, its teaching and study, including using of distance learning technologies.
The Russian delegation is composed of the rector of the State Institute of Russian language named after A.S. Pushkin, ambassadors of the Russian language, and representatives of educational institutions visited secondary school No. 10 in Tashkent.
The Russian delegation got acquainted with the activities of the school and the process of teaching children in Russian.
Russian guests visited the Alexander Pushkin School Museum, which was founded with the participation of teachers, students and their parents.
