Indian government approves space exploration agreement with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of India approved an agreement with Uzbekistan on cooperation in exploration and uses of outer space for peaceful purposes.
A meeting of the Government of India headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi considered the issue of approving the agreement.
The agreement between Uzbekistan and India on on cooperation in exploration and uses of outer space for peaceful purposes was signed on 1 October 2018 during the visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India.
The document will strengthen cooperation between the two countries in development of space technology, satellite communications, space exploration, etc.
Countries will create a joint working group, which will develop a plan of joint activities and measures to implement this document.
