Representative of Uzbekistan to head IRU committee

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A representative of Uzbekistan was elected as chairperson of the Committee of International Road Transport Union (IRU) on relations with Eurasia.
President of International Road Transporters Association of Uzbekistan Kahraman Sidiknazarov was elected as the chairperson of IRU Committee on relations with the Eurasia.
Leonon Kostyuchenko, President of International Road Transporters Association of Ukraine, and Tofik Nurullaev, President of International Road Transporters Association of Azerbaijan, were elected as his deputies.
Vladimir Floriya, who headed the committee from 2004 to 2006, have been elected as honourable chairperson of IRU Committee on relations with the Eurasia.
Newly created IRU Committee on relations with the EurAsEC also held meeting on 7 September. The participants discussed motor transport development in EurAsEC region.
