“Uzbekistan fine arts week +5” to be held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Traditional annual “Uzbekistan fine arts week +5” will be held at the Central Exhibition Hall of Uzbekistan Art Academy on 21-25 April 2012.

The project is organized by the Uzbekistan Art Academy and Fund Forum at the support of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Ministry of Healthcare, Ministry of Interior Affairs, National TV and Radio Company, UzA and Jahon news agencies, Uzbektourism and Uzbekkino.

The event will be held in all regions of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, which will host similar exhibitions and master classes. The project is aimed at presenting high potential of art of Uzbekistan. The visitors can watch process of creation of art products.

“Uzbekistan fine arts week +5” was held in Tashkent in 2004. Since, the event has became one of bright cultural events, attracting people from Uzbekistan and abroad. From 2010, the event is organized in all regions of Uzbekistan.

In 2012, it is planned to organize exhibitions, concerts, master classes, national customs show, presentations, meetings, etc.

It is planned that popular painters from Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Japan and Republic of Korea will participate at the event and hold various master classes.

The visitors will familiarize with works of students of National Institute of Art and Design named after Kamoliddin Bekhzod, Republican Art College, Republican Design College, etc.
