France to assist Uzbekistan to develop mountain tourism

The chairperson of national company Uzbektourism Farruh Rizaev received a mission of the French international assistance agency (ADETEF) the Ministries for the Economy, Budget and Sustainable Development and attaché on economic affairs of the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan Pierre Laboue on 14 June 2013.
At the meeting, the sides considered actual issues of developing mountain tourism with attraction of technical and grant assistance of the ADETEF, the press service of the Uzbek company said.
The French mission informed the Uzbek side on experience of France on accomplishment of tourism complexes and security at them during tourism season, as well as training of specialists on mountain tourism.
The French side expressed readiness to cooperate with Uzbekistan on development of mining tourism.
During their visit to Uzbekistan, experts of the ADETEF visited Tashkent regional administration, Republican scientific educational-consulting center under Uzbektourism, as well as tourism complexes Bildersai, Chimgan and Charvak.
On 15 June, the roundtable dedicated to development of mountain tourism and training of specialists in this direction was held in Tashkent.
