Over 60 Uzbek businesses to undergo training in Germany

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Center for education and re-training of cadres of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held a seminar for graduates of the Uzbek-German programme on training managers.
It was noted that Ministry of Economy and Technologies of Germany and Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan signed an agreement on cooperation in training managers for economy of Uzbekistan on 12 September 2007.
The programme is aimed at strengthening process of reforms at the enterprises and assisting to structural reforms and economic development on the regions of Uzbekistan. The programme assist to opening of economy of Uzbekistan, attracting western know-hoe on management and establishin contacts.
Highly skilled managers help to improve competitiveness and market orientation of enterprises of Uzbekistan. In its turn, this help to economic growth of the region and development of cooperation between German and Uzbek businesses.
InWEnt is a general manager of the projects from the German side and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan – from the Uzbek side. The programme is highly demanded among local businesses. Highly skilled German teachers conduct trainings.
Representatives of small and medium businesses are mainly participating at the project. The businesses work in various areas of economy and form economic cooperation with German firms.
In 2006-2012, over 650 Uzbek entrepreneurs and managers improved their knowledge in Germany. This year, it is planned that 60 Uzbek entrepreneurs will undergo training in Germany.
At the event, the entrepreneurs and managers, who underwent training in Germany, shared with their knowledge and skills, acquired in Germany.
