Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and India will hold a session of the joint intergovernmental commission in early 2014, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan Anumula Gitesh Sarma said.
Anumula Gitesh Sarma said in interview to UzA agency that the countries are trying to use all opportunities to further develop economic relations.
Indian Ambassador underlined that increasing the volume of trade, strengthening peace and stability in the region are important for developing the Uzbek-Indian economic cooperation. In early 2013, it is planned to hold the session of the joint intergovernmental commission.
“We are intending fully use existing potential of our counties in such spheres as pharmaceuticals and information technologies, develop several projects in these areas,” the Indian diplomat added.
