Latvian “green” technologies presented in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Association of International Business and Technologies (AMBiT) hosted a B2B-meeting with the mission of Latvia, which included representatives of companies, engaged in water supply, cleaning and keeping drinking and industrial water, waste utilization, biotechnologies and nano-technologies, etc.
The meeting was held within an official visit of Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia Kaspars Gerhards to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the Latvian businesses shared their experience in “green” economy. Cleantech Latvia said it is interested in cooperation with the Uzbek partners in various areas – processing waster, cleaning and storing water, production of bio fuel and biogas, etc.
Karme Filtrs said it has over 20 years of experience in processing and cleaning waste water. It produces and installs various specialized equipment and provides services to them.
Uzbek businesses received chance to familiarize with “clean technologies and green economy” at the meeting and establish contacts with the Latvian businesses, discuss concrete projects.
