Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and China signed 105 agreements for over US$22 billion within the first state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China, the chairperson of the State Committee on investments of Uzbekistan Azim Ahmedhodjaev said.
He noted that Uzbekistan and China will cooperate in such areas as energy, modernization of pump stations, agriculture, oil and gas, chemistry, transport communications and the production of import-replacing products.
Azim Ahmedhodjaev emphasized that Chinese business circles are interested in developing trade, economic and investment ties with Uzbekistan. He noted that Chinese companies are ready to contribute to the development of the economy of Uzbekistan.
