Foreign Ministry to take measures to protect rights of Uzbek citizens abroad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan will take comprehensive measures to strengthen protection of rights and interests of Uzbek citizens abroad in 2018. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Saidikram Niyazhodjaev.
He noted that in this regard, it is planned to open new and expand activities of consular institutions of Uzbekistan abroad, as well as transfer services into electronic format.
“At the same time, we will make every effort to establish a permanent contact with compatriots living abroad, to attract their potential to implement large-scale social and economic reforms in the country,” the Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister added.
“In this regard, it is planned to develop a Concept of State Policy in the field of interaction with compatriots abroad,” he stressed.
