Turonbank to emit shares for 2.2bn soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Turonbank will issue 2.2 million additional shares to increase its charter capital, the bank said in disclosure information.
The bank said it will emit 1.7 million ordinary and 440,000 preferential stocks with par value 1,000 soums each.
The floatation of the shares will increase authorized capital of the bank from current 10.8 billion soums to 13 billion soums.
The bank will float new shares in open trades, but current shareholders will have right to buy shares first. However, 25% of new emission will be put for trade at the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange “Toshkent”.
Major shareholders of the bank are Energokimyomarkaz (16.3% shares), Infrastruktura (11.9%), Tabiat Mehri (11.3%), Gidroenergetika (7.4%), Agro Reforma (5.7%) and Basys (5.6%).
